Beholding Grace; Becoming Family
At South Carroll Reformed Presbyterian, everything begins and ends with grace. "He who is forgiven much loves much" (Luke 7:47), and because we have received such mercy through Jesus Christ, our hearts are moved to love God and one another.
Through faith in Christ, we have been "adopted as sons and daughters" into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5). That means church isn’t just a gathering—it’s a family that stretches across generations and around the world, united by one Spirit and one hope (Ephesians 4:4–6). Whether near or far, past or present, we belong to something far greater than ourselves: the household of God (Ephesians 2:19).
Beholding God’s grace changes us (2 Corinthians 3:18). As we grow in our understanding of His Word and His plan of redemption, the Spirit shapes us more into the likeness of Christ, teaching us to extend the same patience, forgiveness, and love we have received—to the lost and to the found (Colossians 1:28).
In worship, we pause again to behold that grace—joining our voices with believers who have gone before us, singing and proclaiming the same gospel truths that have strengthened God’s people through the ages.
So wherever you are in your journey—just beginning, returning, or pressing deeper—you are welcome here. Together, we are Beholding Grace; Becoming Family.
